2010年7月25日中午12點(diǎn)10分，“眼睛銀行”經(jīng)理桑查在火葬場(chǎng)實(shí)施角膜摘除手術(shù)。捐獻(xiàn)者是前幾天自殺身亡的7歲小女孩，她的父親決定捐獻(xiàn)她的眼角膜，希望至少能讓她還看見這個(gè)世界。小女孩的家人和朋友一直圍在桑查的身邊，看著他完成整場(chǎng)手術(shù)。 7/25/2010 12:10 PM：Sankha Narayan Twyana, the Tilganga Eye Bank manager, performs a cornea extraction at the Pashupatinath cremation site in Kathmandu, where dead bodies are brought to be cremated along the sacred Bagmati river. This corpse is of a 7year old girl who committed suicide the previous day. Her father decided to donate her eyes in the hope "to at least keep her sight alive." Family and friends gather around Twyana as he completes the procedure.
